Homeward Bound Puppy

So Friday afternoon Boris was outside on his tie-out watching the neighbors sand their driveway and try to make it safe enough to drive up. He watched them for quite awhile while I shoveled off the porch. Then for some reason he decided he needed to go visit the neighbors and ran full out until he hit the end of the tie-out and his collar latch popped. So his Halloween collar is no more. We went out last night to try and find a replacement that buckled or was made better. We ended up with a nice Christmas collar for $2. Big enough he can grow for some time and still wear it. Its got soft felt backing with a nylon collar and ribbon overlay. Unfortunately its the most obnoxious shades of green. I don’t think it looks that bad, but Tim thinks its awful so my job is to determine if we can replace the ribbon with something nicer or just take it off. One of the only good things about having a bigger dog is you often manage to find good deals in the clearance bin since everyone wants teeny dogs.
