Just Keep Swimming

By Angela W Posted in Daily Life, Pictures, Puppy TV / No Comments »

Since its summer finally, its really hot out. We drug the boys down to the river to go swimming and fetch sticks. I had originally just intended for Cherokee to stay on his leash with his nice new collar and stay out of trouble, but I ended up just taking it off an letting him run about like a dork.

The tide was out when we got there and slowly came in which was nice to some degree. There were lots of fish and crabs which was ok, but rather obnoxious as they kept crawling over my feet and nipping my legs. Which I got on tape…because life is just like that.

Boris on the other hand had oodles of fun running through the mud, fetching sticks (although his retrieve is less than stellar outside still) and swimming with Cherokee, who refused to get out of the water unless he had to. Cherokee swam in circles between sticks if we let him, it was hilarious. He’s never been that excited about swimming, but I imagine it felt good to his legs. Something tells me hydrotherapy has just made it onto the weekly to-do list.

I got some great shots of Boris and Cherokee enjoying themselves in the almost two hours we were out there. Well worth the sunburn on my shoulders from forgetting sunscreen yet again. Got some videos as well which will be added to the video page. Be warned Bo isn’t cute anymore. He’s a monster and towers taller and heavier than Cherokee does. Ok, so he’s still cute, but its in a larger than life kind of way.

And I made this super cute badge on Flickr when I uploaded the pictures. I will work on uploading some here later but for now its took forever to do it there and organize them. *ok so its not quite as cute as I’d hope. Apparently WP doesn’t allow for Flash usage. Bleck.

TV, My Puppy and Me?

By Angela W Posted in Puppy TV / No Comments »

I received an e-mail from Dogster.com the other day telling me about a new possible reality show from CBS called America’s Top Dog (working title) and immediately sent in a quick application e-mail. I received one back asking that we download and fill out the regular one (all 18 pages-ugh) and another later that day about calling to speak to someone. We called back, well Tim did, and printed out the application to fill out. We faxed it yesterday and will hear back in a week or so to see if we will make it to the next step in the process. So keep your paws crossed.

On the Video Front

Due to some networking issues I can’t see my external storage drive. Most of my video is stored there, heck, most of my life is stored there but until I can find it again I’m limited to what I can take on the older crappier cameras and upload to my computer. Not as nice, but still better than nothing. They actually do a pretty good job when you consider we paid $30 each for them. :) I’m working on making the YouTube player smaller cause it annoys me that big.

Puppy TV-all chewing all the time

By Angela W Posted in Puppy TV / 2 Comments »

So Tim says all the videos I take of the puppy are the same: the puppy eating a carrot, the puppy eating a Nylabone edible chew, the puppy eating his KONG, etc. I say he makes the cutest faces when he’s eating. This is the first installment of Puppy TV. Now with more chewing.
